Description

The VS200-BU Slide Scanner enables applications ranging from advanced research to specialized digital pathology. The SLIDEVIEW™ VS200 System is designed to capture a wide variety of specimens and stains with multiple magnifications, flexible slide sizes, and five versatile imaging modes. Exceptional whole-slide image quality allows your lab to fully realize the potential of your samples.

Flexible imaging modes

Discover more details in your samples with five imaging modes: brightfield, polarization, fluorescence, darkfield and phase contrast in one system, and the ability to combine multiple techniques in a single scan.

Support for glass slides and plates

Mixed Batch Scanning: An easy-to-use slide tray lets you scan 26 × 76 mm (1 × 3 in), 52 × 76 mm (2 × 3 in), 76 × 102 mm (3 × 4 in), and 102 × 127 mm (4 × 5 in) slides in a single batch.

Automated slide detection: An RFID system detects different formats and scans them in the same batch, saving time and optimizing throughput.

Data management

Easily analyze, share and archive your data

Centralized Image Storage: Easily manage your images with the optional Net Image Server (NIS) SQL database.

Secure Web Sharing: Easily store and share your images online to collaborate with colleagues, research teams, or remote consultants.

Access Control: Control access to your data with individual access rights.

Multiple File Formats: Scan and export images in VSI, OME-TIFF, and DICOM formats.

LIS Integration: Query the laboratory information system (LIS) for additional metadata and save scans in DICOM format for direct upload to an image management system.

Automated Workflows: Enable automatic uploads to the NIS SQL database for simplified data management.

VSI Format for Advanced Microscopy: Developed by Evident, the VSI file format addresses the specific needs of microscopic imaging. Its growing adoption by various projects and companies ensures long-term compatibility and support.

Observation Methods: Brightfield, Reflected Brightfield (optional*2), Darkfield, Phase Contrast (optional*3), Single Polarization (optional*4), Fluorescence (optional), Fluorescence Optical Sectioning with Speckle Illumination (SILA Module optional).

Optical frame illuminator: Integrated Köhler illumination for transmitted light; high intensity LEDs and high color rendering (up to 50,000 hours).

Objectives: Compatible 2X, 4X*4, 10X*5, 20X, 40X*5, 60X*5 and 100X*5 objectives for 6-position motorized nosepiece (including selected oil immersion, silicone oil immersion and phase contrast objectives),
